Scientist Application to Join BioMap Alaska

Thank you for your interest in becoming a scientist for BioMap Alaska! BioMap scientists are tasked with confirming animal sightings submitted online from observers. We are recruiting scientists with knowledge of one or more of our eleven species of interest. For most reported observations, BioMap Team members will be able to confirm the species sighted. However, there may be those instances when the BioMap Team needs help confirming an observation. When this happens a scientist(s) with appropriate background will receive an email prompt to sign in to the BioMap website to examine the submission and either verify or edit the information accordingly. By enlisting scientists to help us with this extra step, we can ensure that the observation submitted to us is as accurate as possible.
